Day 1: McLeod Ganj Basecamp

Arrive at McLeod Ganj and check-in to the base camp. Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude and resting. Attend a briefing session with the trek leader and team to get familiarized with the trek.

Day 2: McLeod Ganj to Triund Top

After breakfast, start the trek from McLeod Ganj to Triund Top. Trek through the scenic route that takes you through a lush forest of oak, rhododendron, and pine trees. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range and the Kangra Valley. The trek takes around 5-6 hours to reach Triund Top, where you will have your lunch. Set up camp at Triund Top and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the mountains.

Day 3: Triund Top to Lahesh Cave

After breakfast, start the trek from Triund Top to Lahesh Cave, which is at an altitude of 3500m. Trek through the steep climb and narrow trails, which will take you through beautiful scenic views. On the way, you will pass by the snowline cafe. The trek takes around 4-5 hours to reach Lahesh Cave, where you will set up camp for the night.

Day 4: Lahesh Cave to Moon Peak and back to llaqa Got

Wake up early in the morning, and after breakfast, start the trek to Moon Peak. The trek is challenging and involves steep ascents and descents. The trail takes you through rocky terrain, and the last few hundred meters are quite challenging. However, the breathtaking views from the top make it worth the effort. The summit of Moon Peak stands at an altitude of 4380m and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including Hanuman Tibba and Manimahesh Kailash. After spending some time at the summit, start your descent to Laqa Got. The total trekking distance on this day is around 10-12 km, and it takes around 10 hours to complete the trek. Spend the night at the campsite at Laqa Got.

Day 5: Ilaqa Got to McLeod Ganj

After breakfast, start the trek back to McLeod Ganj. The trek is relatively easier and takes around 5-6 hours to reach McLeod Ganj. Bid farewell to your trek leader and team and depart for your onward journey.
